how about making the hydration chamber inaccessible to the colony by simply filling it with a water absorbent material the ants can drink from. instead of making the hydration chamber an area that the ants can both obtain water from and live within, why not cut off their ability to live inside the hydration chamber?

What if you had a hole separate water reservoir which could hook up to sertan parts of the other modular systems

That could work, or I can just make some pieces have a reservoir in some pieces.

So I made a simple layout and measurement (in mm) of the basic main room. Haven't decided if I should go natural or not with this. Let me know what you guys want.
