I currently have a Pheidole megacephala queen with 10 workers and 12 or so brood. The workers are a reddish-orange hue with a black gaster, while the queen is dark red with a black gaster. The queen was caught during a nuptial flight in the middle of June, which is the start of rainy season for the Philippines. I feed them Paratrechina longicornis workers(wild) for protein, and rice crispies coated with caramel for sugar. Some tips would be helpful, since this is my first colony. This was posted on my phone so there are no pictures.

There are 16 workers and more brood. I fed them sugar water and caramel just now. I'm gonna try to post pictures later.

There are 18 workers and more pupa and brood. They ate some cricket legs and are very active. A lot of them forage already. Here is a picture, but it's low quality.
