pretty sure Camponotus Leavigatus was swarming today (July 14th, 2016) 

Victoria, BC

low 20deg C

 

picked up 4 queens off the paved driveway with no collecting gear on me, could have picked up 10 more if I had been prepared :S

 

Most had dropped there wings already so they may have flown earlier in the week but I haven't noticed them. Last heavy rain was Monday evening and this is Thursday.
