Found this queen this week walking in the sidewalk.

Location: Rio de Janeiro - Brazil

Color: The gaster is white-ish.

Size: 9mm

OBS: when I found her she was walking with her gáster under her thorax, some workers that I think is the same sp. do the same thing.(photo)

I was thinking about Camponotus Mus, but probably isn't it.

Like I said before, not a expert. This one throws me off though. I look at it and I see a camponotous species queen and then I think it is some other species. However this is a long shot, but I think there is a chance it is Camponotus crassus.? I don't know, that is probably wrong.

I would say that it is Camponotus Crassus as well. I can infer from the posture of the queen.
