Since our community is relatively small in the US, we have very few stores in which we can buy formicaria, outworlds and ant keeping accessories. Although i am very thankful for stores such as AntsCanada, Tar Heel Ants and Byformica, as someone with very little money, it is hard and sometimes almost impossible to buy setups and other forms of equipment. What i am really searching for are founding formicariums for young colonies that have removable glass lids and are made out of absorbent materials such as gypsum or grout that can be purchased for relatively small sums of money. If there are any "hole in the wall" stores that i can purchase from that have products that meet this criteria, i would love to know.

I have one that will be ready for sale soon, most likely under $30. (Probably 20).

It's a 3D printed founding formicarium with 4 chambers and a hydration system. I'm expecting to finish it in a week, I'm having troubles with one final part.

Ouch indeed lol, but does drew sell products off forum? I am only aware of him sometimes selling products here on the forums.

You can also keep an eye on the marketplace.

Some people occasionally post things there.

I sometimes have used or unwanted new formicariums that I made posted on my thread there. Nothing fancy though.
