I'll be making a journal of my Tetramorium colony. This is my most active colony. Their colony tripped in size in the last few months and their food intake is massive.

I don't have a worker estimate just yet. Once they get in their new nest I'll be able to at least give an educated guess.

This colony was able to escape out of their original nest. Lack of resources, made this colony create a pheromone trail out of a tiny hole in their formicarium and into my Camponotus nest! From their, they killed all 15 workers and ate about 30-40 mixed brood. Luckily they weren't able to do major harm to the queen before I caught it. (See my Camp. thread for progress on the queen)


I'll be uploading pictures and videos of this colony later tonight. I think I'll also setup a stream for a day, to show them feeding as their numbers are pretty outstanding for a 2 year old colony.
