Since this colony seems to be doing good, I decided to make a journal for them.

Really hard to tell, but it looks like they're up to approximately 250 workers.

They have 4 huge piles of brood; two are in the right corners of the 2 levels.

I've been feeding them crushed sunflower seeds lately. They ate a few spiders, little bit of oats, crushed dog food, and byformica ant nectar. They like to pile what ever they can find and put in on the ant feeder and drain it. They don't do it to the water just the ant nectar.

I think the formicarium is too big and they are squeeze through the gaps. Would like to see the major workers and looks like they are doing well.

Yeah the formicarium is definitely too big for them; but the brood production exploded after they got more room. They were really packed in a test tube.

I didn't have anything else so this will have to make due. I was thinking about possibly giving them a substrate to work with, anything I could give them that doesn't risk mold?

They have some majors but I'm trying to stress them just a little, so they produce more. I'll try and get some pictures of them.

My Pheidole is very clean and tidy. They would clean up the moldy rubbishes and take the sand I put in the outworld to arrange their entrance. So I guess you just have to watch out for the mites.

While I was away on vacation, there was a massive die off. Not sure what happened as my friend was watching over them.

There's maybe 25% of the colony left at best.

I hydrated their nest and put them away for hibernation/diapause.

Checked on this colony while they were in hibernation to find a massive mild outbreak.

I put a ton of springtails in their haven and attached a test tube. I'm hoping they move due to how much mold is in there.

Update: 7-7-2016

This colony ended up dying off due to mold from uneaten seeds.

Journal is closed until I get another Queen or colony.
