I love these threads, I figure the more I learn the better. Granted everyone's pictures make me a wee bit envious, but also makes me excited for the summer. Regardless of if I get any queens this year, it wouldn't hurt for me to enjoy more time outside :)

Yup! Get on it! My colony has really grown that I want to see where yours is at! Funny how there were 2 and now Colorado has 6 anters!

I am unsure of the lifespan, i would guess quite a few years if they are treated well.

At least you've got the formicarium still! You know as much as anyone else how easily you'll come across Tetramorium.
