I collected a small thief ant colony from under a rock yesterday and have been setting up a formicarium for them, but they seem to ignore honey water. What should I give them for protein and for carbs?

From my experience they eat a lot of things. Insects, chicken, oily foods (love french fries), cat/dog food. They aren't picky at all.

Mine really liked greasy stuff, but they really were not picky about anything I gave them.

The ultimate test is whether they like Wendys or not.
