I Caught Two Camponotus Castaneus queens this year and i'm very excited! My favorite one literally crawled right up to me while i was outside working! I've had them for about 2 weeks now. I love their orange eggs because of how cool they look! They both were collected in Summerville, South Carolina near my house where we have two large colonies nearby.

Only thing i'm worried about is I hear they don't do too well in test tubes, can anyone confirm this and/or offer suggestions?
