This colony is doing pretty good. They are now up to fifteen workers.

Aha! This must be the species of Aphaenogaster that is literally everywhere where I live. I plan on catching a young colony of these soon.

I accidentally froze all my ants

This colony has been doing quite well. A few days ago I counted about 180 workers, but something in the air killed off tons of my colonies the other day; I'm not sure what it was. The colony is now at about 100 workers.

This colony has gone down in size even more. They are now around 70 workers. I just put them into hibernation for the winter.

I recently took this colony out of hibernation and they still seem to be doing okay with about the same worker count.

Unfortunately this colony is dead.
That is unforntunate, I really miss my colony that died las year.
