Hi, I don't know about sellers besides what's on the GAN project page(http://www.antscanad...-ants-for-sale/), but there's are a few people in the state according to the members map. It might be worth a shot to see if any of these members are close to you and willing to share queens/go anting with you.

Been keeping an eye out as well Estuary. Would be nice to have members close by here in Texas.

Yeah its just that the only species available via the gan project in my state is S. geminata.

Probably not at the top of your list as there are plenty of Solenopsis invicta around, but I do have a queen with nanitics if you are interested. I'm in Austin.

EDIT: No cost for the queen and her company. If anyone is interested please be aware that there is a TDA RIFA quarantine zone in Texas.

After reading all I can find and discussing with other members I don't feel comfortable mailing S. invicta. Apologies for putting it out there. I will add to this Texas specific thread if I find any other queens that are not part of a quarantine.
