I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is normal for a queen after her first batch of eggs when they turn into larvae, for the queen to not lay anymore? Is this because she is waiting for them to turn into workers before she lays anymore so they can assist her and forage for her? Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Yes that's normal. She's conserving her energy, she won't lay any more until after she has her first workers

It's also normal for queens to stop laying and start helping for short periods while she's still young. She does this to allow her reproductive system to mature.
