Hello formiculture community. I've been wanting to start a Pogonomyrmex barbatus or Californicus colony and I came across this website as I was doing my research. After browsing through this website, I just wanted to say that I'm glad it exists. A lot of helpful people here. I''m looking forward to interacting with you all.

Welcome. You won't find Pogonomyrmex barbatus here, but you'll certainly find P. californicus. They should be flying any day now.

Hello NightsWebs, I'm glad to hear that your Pogonomyrmex are doing well. I hope to start my colony soon. I'm looking out for someone in the forum from Southern California to post that they have either a queen or a young colony that I can acquire from them.
