Hey all.
My name is Daniel and I'm 30 yeas old, and I'm an ant lover!
(Everyone says: Hi Daniel)
Sounds like an AA meeting 
But thing is, i have allways had a secret admiration for ants, and their lives, i think they are the coolest "pet" you can have within a relatively small amount of space, and therefore, i started looking around for ways to keep them. Now, in Denmark, antkeeping is not really a thing (that i know of) so finding anything worth looking at was hard, and I'm still searching for a good site (maybe there's some more danes on this site??) Anywho, I don't have any ants yet but my very first grout formacarium is drying in the garage, so sometime next week ill be done with it i think. It was relatively easy to make (thanks to guides from this very page) so all in all I'm happy with it, might even be posting pictures soon...
Now, as to the ants, I'm going for a Lasius Niger colony as i understand they are fairly easy and good for beginners, but if all goes well, who knows what the future holds..
As an added bonus, got 3 kids that think ants will be the coolest thing to show friends when they visit, so all in all a good hobby!

Camponotus are easy also, and very large to make observing them a lot easier.
