I wasn't expecting to see anything today and I found three of these little girls wondering around the same area. Wasn't sure at first if they were even queens, thought they were just workers. I think they are Lasius claviger? Only about 12mm long, a little more petite than a Lasius neoniger.

It was very warm today and they were in a driveway near the shore. I didn't see any flights, or any of them anywhere else.
