Pheidole sp with only 5 majors

Hey everyone so long story short my pheidole sp colony which had around 50 workers were in a natural nest and I tried to get them out into a test tube and found the queen and 5 majors no minors will my queen still survive will the majors feed the queen etc should I feed the colony only since there's 5 majors or does the queen feed them?

Species I have kept or are keeping
-Nylanderia sp?
-Pheidole sp
-Pachycondyla Castanea (I didn't catch the queen sadly)
-Monomorium Antarcticum
-Iridomyrmex sp
-Ochetellus Glaber

-Amblyopone Australis

Did you dig them up? How could you be sure that all of the workers are dead?

Yea I dug them out all the minors were dead they must of suffocated

What species were they? How deep did you have to dig?

I think they might be ok, since I've read pheidole majors participate in brood care.

I don't know what type of pheidole they are and I didn't have to dig very deep in the natural nest
