Location of collection: On the pavement, near a tree that has grown through

Date of collection: May 13th, 2016

Habitat of collection: Underground, however I am not sure whether she was in wood or dirt

Her length from head to gaster is about half of a centimeter

Color, hue, pattern and texture: Black, with no pattern or color tints from what I can see

Distinguishing characteristics: Her gaster seems to be connected in the middle of itself, with a large portion of it positioned above her midsection, like it hangs

There are also tiny white specs, now, in her test tube setup and I can't tell if they are eggs, or ant poop...

Nest description: Her colony, what I thought to be Tetramorium, was in the middle of a nest move; carrying larva and eggs to a new home. A tree and its roots have ripped up the pavement in their home area, and they took advantage of the shelter

I don't have a magnifying glass, or the greatest camera, so I can't get a picture with better detail. :/
