Hello everyone! I am totally new to keeping ants and have learned a TON from just lurking around. Finally decided to join and learn what I can and maybe contribute later on! I found my first Carpenter ant queen a couple days back in Waco Tx.

Crystals, your awesome lol. Where would be the proper place to post if I have questions on caring for my queen(s)?

Give some of those guides a read over first, especially the beginner's guide.  They should answer 90% of your questions.

If you have questions after that, then post a new thread in the General Ant Keeping section.

Or you can try using the search bar on the main page to see if anyone has covered that particular topic before.

Hey, you are near me(killeen)! Welcome although I'm a noob myself as my daughter (10) got me into ants. I have to keep ahead of her, so here I am as well.

IMHO of course.
