When i add more nectar, should i remove the dirt they used to cover the edges of the dish?

Oh, this is queenless colony. I'm just saying that some of the brood that came with the scoop had alates. Male and Female. I'm gonna release them, and hopefully catch myself a parasitic lasius queen soon for this little colony. They should be gearing up for a flight soon. It's supposed to storm good tmrw, so the next following days should prove fruitful.
