Hello all. Loops here, just wanting to say "Hi" and introduce myself.

To start off, i'm 26, male, and from central Michigan. I've always, and i mean ALWAYS been fascinated with bugs. My whole life i've kept creatures ranging from Saltwater Reef tanks, to Micro ecosystems. Reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, bugs, birds, and generally all creatures are nothing new to me, yet there's sooo much more i want to learn. Around fall of 2015, i decided to get back into Ant farms. I did my research, trying to find a cool Gel filled ant farm for my kid. I quickly learned much much more about this hobby. I learned that those particular ant farms arnt the best way to go, if anything they're the worse. Since i'm a DIY type of guy, creating a formicarium for my species was the deal maker. I got excited, maybe a little too excited.

Anyway, i was intrigued by how much i found. I ended up getting pulled deeper into this idea, and now i'm gonna try to run with it. This is no longer an Ant Farm for my kid, but a journey for both of us. I am also working with other bugs as well (Such as but not limited to mantids and roaches), so i'll have my plate full. I won't mention any plans for the future, but i will say this. You guys will be seeing a lot of me, and i hope to see a lot from you guys.

Thank you.
Loops.
