Man yours are blowing up too. I can't believe how much brood these things are producing all of a sudden. Glad to see yours is healthy.

Just moved it to the new formicarium. sadly it is almost impossible to move the really fat repletes. they exploded.

Has anyone every thought of making removable roofs in formicariums for honeypot ants?

I'm not sure how well honeypot ants are going to do in a formicarium like that. They need to be able to hang repletes.

they can hang on acrylic by the looks of it. but it might be a little too small for the fat ones.

I wouldn't use that. It's a completely wrong set up for them. Your set yourself up for failure in that set up. Just my 2 cents.

Agree with you Bryce.... not proper footing for the repletes.
