Hi all,
Sorry to spam the forum but I've had a lot of success finding queens lately.
I have 3 more queens that I would like to identify to help me care for them properly.
1st Queen
1. I found her in Panton Hill, Victoria, Australia in light bush/scrub. It was a warm day 32c.
2. Found on the 26th January 2016
3. Found in light bushland/scrub.
4. She is 8mm long.
5. Her colour is a light brown head and abdomen. Her gaster is black.
2nd Queen
1. I found her in Panton Hill, Victoria, Australia in light bush/scrub. It was a warm day 32c.
2. Found on the 26th January 2016
3. Found in light bushland/scrub.
4. She is 7mm long.
5. Her colour is a medium brown throughout. She appears to have a light brown coloured spot on the back of her abdomen
3rd Queen
I'm fairly sure this is a Camponotus consobrinus but would like confirmation. She is 15mm long.
