This is my new hibernation cabinet. This wine cooler can be adjusted down to 45F. I just removed the wine bottle racks, and put in my own flat ones. It even locks for people with nosy landlords.

Looks nice! I hope no one asks you what's inside I assume it's "out of the way" somewhere?
Haha my property is none of their business. It's only their property they can open up. That's why I don't keep ants in any cabinets that are part of the apartment.
Sounds like you live in a campus dormitory.
That's a pretty sweet find, Craigslist?
Camponotus vicinus, Crematogaster 1, Crematogaster 2, Formica francoeuri, *, *, Myrmecocystus testaceus, Novomessor cockerelli, Pheidole hyatti, Pogonomyrmex californicus, Pogonomyrmex rugosus, Solenopsis invicta
Sounds like you live in a campus dormitory.
Living in an apartment is barely a step above that.
That's a pretty sweet find, Craigslist?
Yup. Craigslist.
That looks pretty awesome, and from Craigslist too, which can sometimes be iffy. And being able to adjust the temperature makes it better than just putting ants in a normal fridge (which probably doesn't work out that great).
Nice find man Looks perfect for hibernating ants.
The nice thing about it, is it can't get down cold enough to kill the ants; small refrigerators can.
Pictures?
