I know these queens aren't much to look at, but considering how easy they are to keep, makes it a good beginners ants, very fast reproduction, the first two queens took around two weeks, from egg to pupae. The third queen caught two days ago and already laying eggs.
They would fit nicely in a micro formicarium. Just my two cents.
They are fairly small about 50 - 70mm in length, maybe someone might seen them before and can help to identify them.
These two below are the same species. I'm still not sure why the first queen still have her wings attached.
