So recently I had one of my YouTube videos taken down because I used a copyrighted picture by Alex Wild. Now I didn't know his pictures were copyrighted (now I do lol) and having a copyright strike stops me from accessing some of YouTube's features. So I tried to reach out to Alex to see if we could come to an agreement about this issue, but he didn't reply. I contacted him through email and Facebook. Anyone know of another way?

Hopefully I'll be able to solve this problem soon. :)

Email usually works, however he has been pretty busy lately. Just keep trying as he is usually pretty responsive.

It's the end of the semester, and he's a professor, so no doubt he's been busy grading, etc. I'm sure he'll be open to talking with you about this.

Interesting article from a while back regarding Alex Wild's copyright issues, if you weren't aware of how it all went down. I believe he had a few posts on myrmecos.net as well.

Thanks everyone for the help, I guess I'll wait a week or so and resend the email!

I didn't know he also teaches for a living, I guess that explains why he's such a busy guy :) .

He teaches and is curator of the university's insect collection. His photography has slowed way down since he took the job a year ago.
