I added a member map, but a problem with the forum software is not allowing it to show up in the header. So for now, if anyone wants to view it and add their location, you can do so by going here (http://www.formicult....php/membermap/).

Well it looks like the problem with this probably won't be fixed, because Invision Power support sucks. They're too lazy to be of any real use.
I went ahead and applied a temporary fix to it myself.

Actually, while applying this temporary fix, I noticed this was all because of a plugin I installed a long time ago and forgot about. The plugin was, and is still doing exactly what it's supposed to do. It's absolutely unbelievable that Invision Power "support" couldn't have figured this out. Pathetic...

Looks like ants don't exist in the Midwest. Or nobody cares to keep them.

Fun fact: At over 22%—or more than 1 in 5 workers—Wyoming has the greatest percentage of public employees of any U.S. state. That's the extent of my knowledge.
It also has most of Yellowstone in its borders, it was the first state to give women the right to vote (I believe), and its state sport is the rodeo. And according to that map I will apparently be the only ant keeper for hundreds of miles in any direction

There are over one hundred species of ant in the Midwest. 
If you've enjoyed using my expertise and identifications, please do not create undue ecological risk by releasing your ants. The environment which we keep our pet insects is alien and oftentimes unsanitary, so ensure that wild populations stay safe by giving your ants the best care you can manage for the rest of their lives, as we must do with any other pet.
Exotic ants are for those who think that vibrant diversity is something you need to pay money to see. It is illegal to transport live ants across state lines.

If it makes you feel any better as far as i know there are only two ant keepers in colorado. At least on this site from what I've seen
