Your maternal Queen needs to be in with workers or she will die.

Do you have experience with Oecophylla Smaragdina? This is not my experince with queens in the U.S.

Hi guys,

Just for comparisson, here's the farmed Oecophylla smaragdina version, another variant maybe, as the queen is army green, with red colour chest. These are all captivity bred, fourth maybe fifth gen.
The queen is very well protected by the major workers, they are way bigger in contrast to wild colony, as they are very well fed, the queen itself is fat, massive firm gaster full of eggs and the major is just huge. Healthy workers makes happy queen :)
When I have time I'll separate and take a good picture of the queen. Second photo has two queens, try and spot it.
