I found 9 queen messors(I guest) in Denizli after rainy day at 22.10.2015  test tubes aren't I know :)

I found 3 termites (I don't know species) at 6.11.2015

 I found 10 Solenopsis Fugaxies (I guest) at 12.11.2015 .

Yes, the first queens are Messor and the second Crematogaster.

Solenopsis fugax had huge flights! Try to keep them separate as they will start to fight after some time. I had two queens together and they were doing all right until the eggs hatched.They ended up both injured badly.

Did any of the Messor queens lay eggs? They may need hibernation before they lay eggs.

Messors aren't lay yet.probably,they waiting hibernation. I separated to Solenopsis fugaxies after that fotos

I know, I put them same test tube and two termites stay with together . they look like be a couple. Ihope :)

I live in Canada which is a long way from Turkey  but I have seen very similar looking insects listed on the last post, as far as my understanding goes they are not termites. I have also seen the smaller teardrop shaped ones listed on the second last post, I'm pretty sure those aren't termites either. I don't know what insects they are or what they eat.
