Was outside observing the Blood Moon as well. did you take the photo with a scope or regular camera?

Clear night in my location.  The moon looked really "smokey" until after midnight.  You couldn't see the details or the red color until after midnight, it was just a really smokey, hazy grey color.

The moon never looked really large like it did in the southern locations.  Just the usual size.

 

No pictures as I didn't have my camera on me while I was driving.

Too cloudy here. Couldn't see it. A shame, because someone gave me a nice looking telescope/
