I just found two more species of ants living on my brother's property, Messor andrei and Myrmecocystus sp.. I'm pretty happy because these are two species I have wanted to get colonies of, so hopefully this might give me a better chance of catching their mating flights.
 
Here's some pictures and a video of the Myrmecocystus.
 
Here's their nest, which I actually noticed before I saw the ants themselves.

Jaunty little gals, those Myrmecocystus, eh?
 

I think this could be the common M. mimicus.
