I believe this is Otiorhynchus Sulcatus or the black vine weevil.

I figured better late than never on the ID.

Location of collection: In a house.

Habitat of collection:

Length: 1cm (10mm)

Color, hue, pattern and texture: Black, with orange speckles,

Distinguishing characteristics: Has a long thorax part thing. Is really slow and good at grabbing onto things.

Anything else distinctive: Their poop is brown and looks like a smudge. (is that important i have no clue)

Nest description: Found these outside a couple of times under some dried leaf litter they seem to like drier climates compared to more wet ones.

A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy?
