1. Location (on a map) of collection: Hamburg, Germany
2. Date of collection: 22.04.2025, 5:30pm
3. Habitat of collection: Suburbs
4. Length (from head to gaster): 11mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: orange/brown thorax and legs, slight green hue on the backside of the gaster (I'm colorblind so pls take this with a grain of salt)

Looks like F. rufa (Formica rufa) to me. Otherwise some species in the Formica rufa-group of ants.

3x - S. molesta (colonies and single queen)                1x - C. nearcticus (founding but no eggs)   (y) New!

1x - C. chromaiodes (colony)                                       1x - C. subbarbatus (founding)  

1x - F. subsericea (founding)                                        1x - T. sessile (mega colony)

3x - P. imparis (colonies)  

2x - L. neoniger (founding)
