Hello, I'm new to this website and also with ants in general. I live in LA and I'm hoping to catch a queen - preferably camponotus, but anything beginner friendly and/or interesting to observe would be nice. Is it too early here for nuptial flights and where should I look? There's a few parks near me, but I've also heard of using a light to attract them during the night. Any help would be appreciated!
