Hi, I'm new to ant keeping but so far I love it

I have a tetramorium immigran colony and I'm super exited to watch them grow!

Welcome the FC, Tetramorium is a cool species to keep, they grow fast and swarm their food, how big are they right now? Anyways, I hope that you will find Formiculture a fun and helpful Forum!

1x Formica subsericea, 20+ workers + wait, SMALL BROOD PILE? IN FEBRUARY?!? :thinking:

1x Crematogaster cerasi 2 workers with brood (still growing)

They are really small smaller then I expected, I will try to get some exact measurements thou.

today I noticed a few ants were bigger then the other ants! which makes cense because the next generation should be bigger right?

Yes. The mature workers which come when the colony has several hundred workers are more than double the length of the nanitics.

I only have like fifty but but the new ants are significantly bigger?

and I don't think that my queen is mature yet.
