Hi,

some of you might already know the old version of my AntCounter app.

I've been working on a completely new modernized version for some time. Yesterday I released the first alpha version of it.

antcounter_en.jpg

Some of the new features added:

  • Localization (currently English + German)
  • Modern UI
  • Responsive
  • Easy export of counted image, including caption
  • Light/Dark Mode

Some other features are also planned but rewriting the app from scratch took some time.

The app runs completely locally in your web browser and stores all data also locally (indexedDB). The old version will stay online for a while, but I will eventually redirect to the new version permanently.

I hope you enjoy using the app and please let me know of any bugs, improvements.

It works like a charm, in my opinion, it is the best ant counter online!

Currently keeping:

1x Formica subsericea, 20+ workers + wait, SMALL BROOD PILE? IN FEBRUARY?!?

1x Crematogaster cerasi 2 workers with brood (still growing)

Glad you like the app. You can now also install the app so you can use it almost like a normal app (works both on Desktop and mobile). It also works completely offline.
