Hey everyone!
I've been reading this forum for a long time and I appreciate so much of the great information all of you have shared. I have a nearly 1 year old colony of formica sub. (In diapause) And a p. Pilifera colony ~6 weeks old. Looking forward to chatting with y'all and learning as much as I can about this great hobby, cheers!

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores it's provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. Proverbs 6: 6-8

Welcome! I also own a colony of Formica subsericea, and you might find my journal on them and my other Formica colonies helpful, especially in the ID department. You can find that journal Here: Ants_Dakota's Formica sp. Journal
Good luck, and welcome to the community!
