Species level isn't obtainable with the pictures provided on the Inaturalist observation.

"The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer." Prov. 30:25
Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.

Since there is no known Crematogaster species present in British Columbia, I would agree with the statement in the comments on inaturalist, that it would be a recently introduced species.

There is one known record of Crematogaster from Washington on the border with Oregon and a handful of scattered C. coaractata records from Oregon. There is always the possibility that very sparse and scattered populations of the genus ocasionally reach BC, Canada. That general region isn't known to have a lot of widely executed in-depth surveying.
