(Update 3/26/2025)
Soooooo, I made a mistake. In the past, I've only kept large ants (aside from monomorium) and I'm used to not having to worry about the tiniest gaps the cotton ball doesn't fill. And soon, most of the workers escaped, except for 2 and the queen. A week later, both the workers died (It might have been from stress, or the fact that they where months old, maybe a combination of both.) And I sort of gave up on the colony succeeding, and decided to let the queen live out her last days happy. I gave her humming bird nectar, shrimp food, ect. Today I checked on them, expecting to find nothing, but instead I found a large pile of eggs! I could count around 10+ so hopefully they can make a recovery!

And many Carnivorous plants such as: Dionea muscipula (fly trap), Sarracenia x 'Fiona' ( American Pitcher plant), Nepenthese ventrata (Tropical Pitcher plant), and Pinguicula agnata x emarginata (Butterwort) (show off your plants here)

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores it's provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. Proverbs 6: 6-8
