July 20, 2024: More Carpenter Ants [5 workers]

Yet another carpenter ant colony I bought from AntopiaUSA. Wanted to grow all of these ants as soon as I could since they take a while to get to a decent sized colony.

Gave the colony honey for the first time alongside a few leafhoppers.

August 19, 2024: New Setup [6 workers]

Now without any water, I moved them into a tubs and tubes setup so I can rehydrate them while I'm away for a few weeks.

November 11, 2024: [6 workers]

Seems like the colony will stop here for the year with 6 workers and 2 larvae. The workers are now comfortable with foraging outside of their test tube, but the queen isn't ready to move closer to a new water source.

You're gonna sell out Antopia . Good luck to all your colonies. Btw, where do you plan to keep all of your ants when they turn into mature colonies?

And many Carnivorous plants such as: Dionea muscipula (fly trap), Sarracenia x 'Fiona' ( American Pitcher plant), Nepenthese ventrata (Tropical Pitcher plant), and Pinguicula agnata x emarginata (Butterwort) (show off your plants here)

Godzilla thread

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores it's provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. Proverbs 6: 6-8
