Hi there, I was wondering how you guys get bee colonies? Do the queens have nuptil flights like ants, or is it something different?

And many Carnivorous plants such as: Dionea muscipula (fly trap), Sarracenia x 'Fiona' ( American Pitcher plant), Nepenthese ventrata (Tropical Pitcher plant), and Pinguicula agnata x emarginata (Butterwort) (show off your plants here)

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores it's provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. Proverbs 6: 6-8

Hello AntsGodzilla;

The University of Guelph in Ontario has a library of excellent beekeeping videos that will answer all your questions.    A video for beginning beekeepers is located here   HOW TO START BEEKEEPING for the Absolute Beginner | Become a Beekeeper | Beekeeping 101   There are many other advanced videos if you develop an interest.  Good Luck

Hey! I know this is a very late reply but I have become interested in apiculture as of late and have been burning through lots of books. Check out the https://www.beesource.com/ forum. Lots of experienced experts on that forum. I also have some good book suggestions. Also check out David Burns on YouTube.

Beekeeping for dummies

Sorry again for the late reply and hefty comment. Let me know if you have any questions!
