What THA formicarium should they move into next?

I personally would get the mini hearth xxl  once they fill up the mini hearth. You can just connect it modular to the mini hearth, if you don't mind them being connected. They will use both nests and while I have no experience with M. depelis, hopefully they are like the more common species and are very clean, thus they will not store trash in xxl(they will store it temporarily while processing), even if it's only half full.

THA recommended the Lair formicarium for them.

The lair is made for founding/small colonies.

And many Carnivorous plants such as: Dionea muscipula (fly trap), Sarracenia x 'Fiona' ( American Pitcher plant), Nepenthese ventrata (Tropical Pitcher plant), and Pinguicula agnata x emarginata (Butterwort) (show off your plants here)

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores it's provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. Proverbs 6: 6-8

in that case the mini hearth xxl should work.

I also say a larger minihearth or hearth as you can easily connect more nests without having to move the repletes.

(Update 12/20/2024)

Two months later, the fireballs have continued to grow even larger. They haven't had another replete yet, so I'll be upping their protein.

Not to be a downer but they seem to have lost worker count compared to 2+ months ago. Your replete has died and is on the ground. There is no brood pile that we can see. The queen is acting as the replete which means she is not laying eggs. I would def change something because this colony might be heading for demise. Temperature? Humidity ? Protein intake …

Not true. There have been no worker deaths, at least 10 workers are in the outworld, and the camera couldn't get an angle good enough to view them all. There are at least 10 brood in a corner, where they always are.

That replete on the floor looks quite dead… usually when you see the queen becoming a replete is a sign that she is not in egg producing mode. if you can take picture of the brood pile that would be good. But there should be eggs larva of different stages and pupae. A healthy colony should have brood of all stages and if you don’t have that it means something is wrong and you need to fix somethings.
