Hey there, I was wondering is there is anyone here that have kept solenopsis krockowi, as I was thinking of getting some, and need info on how to keep them as well as I can.

Edit: I just read Cheeto's journal, and how do I keep them from eating their queen?

I keep:

(angry) Pogonomyrmex Rugosus,
(stubborn) Myrmecocystus Deplisis
Tetramorium Immigrans
Monomorium ergatogyn Journal

And many Carnivorous plants such as:

Dionea (fly trap)                                                                                                                                                        Sarracenia x 'Fiona' ( American Pitcher plant)

Nepenthese ventrata (Tropical Pitcher plant                                                                                                             Pinguicula agnata x emarginata (Butterwort)

Consistent feeding typically prevents a colony from eating their queen. A colony will also eat the queen is she dies. To keep them, just provide typical ant care. It would be interesting to see where you found someone selling S. krockowi in CA considering only one legitimate record exists.
