Hi guys, I have a myrmica rubra queen. She laid eggs about a

 

 week ago but the eggs are not developing(no larvae). Usually how long 

 

are their egg stage? Thanks!

Although I cannot give you a definite date on how long they last, I do believe for most if not all ant species the egg stage lasts longer than week. Otherwise, your queen may be eating her eggs because of stress and relaying them, causing you to see no growth. I would recommend using the search bar in the top right corner to research other Myrmica rubra journals to see how long it took for their queens to have larvae.

are you letting her forage?

Myrmica are semi-claustral, i believe, and are very protein-oriented. 

  the queen needs to eat not just for eggs but for her too
