What ant do you think is most wasp-like (I've heard that ants have evolved from a colony of ground wasps), and I was wondering that ants are most wasp-like in your opinion? I've got to say pogonomyrmex because some of them have the sting of wasps and they're pretty aggressive.

All three genera of Pseudomyrmecinae are probably the most wasp-like Formicidae when it comes to appearances.
