1. Location of collection: Shelton, CT
2. Date of collection: 09/11/2015
3. Habitat of collection: Wooded suburb, mostly deciduous.
8. Nest description: The originating colony lives between the railroad ties of embankment wall.

I agree. Some kind of Lasius. It reminds me a lot of my L. nearcticus. See here ...
