will stigmatomma denticulatum live well in captivity? i recently got some queens and i don't know is i can put more queens or i need to put only 1.

I don't think anyone has raised successfully Stigmatomma or anything in the Amblyoponinae subfamily.

I think your queen might actually be Cryptopone. Because they recently had flights.

They are ponerines, which means they are hard to keep. I suggest you feed them termites.


Species I keep:

 

1 Lasius cf. Neoniger 30 workers

1 Camponotus sp. 15 workers

20 Tetramorium SpE 30 workers

1 T. Sessile 200 workers

3 queens died and only one remain with some eggs.

This is true, my Stigmatomma queen recently died.
