I live in Colorado and was wondering if anyone has any idea where I can buy some ants that are not too expensive? And does anyone sell ants near me?

Thank You for your time!

statesideants.com is the better of all options in my opinion.

Yah the GAN project is a great option, as there will be ant keepers you can visit directly to buy ants from locally, and pretty cheap. Occasionally members from formiculture will also be selling ants, and chances are they'll be near enough for you to buy from them! I don't know much about ants sold in the U.S but the ones listed above are pretty great options!

If you can't find a seller here or via the above recos, I know that while the AAK (Ants & Ant-keeping) discord isn't liked by everyone, AAK may have a Colorado contingent. I'm not in that region but I met a lot of anters there on AAK (many also have accounts here) and now I have "regular suppliers" from there.

I live in Colorado (Loveland) and have some Tetra queens I am selling. Is that a species you are interested in? I also have a Pogonomyrmex Occ queen, but she has yet to successfully hatch nanitics. Once (if) she does, she would also be for sale.

I'd maybe say go local to you if there's an option.

If you were mail ordering I'd recommend TarHeelAnts, i've been very happy with everything i've bought from them.

You should probably send him a PM, since he might not see it here.
