I recently purchased an ant farm from Amazon that I want to move my Camponotus us-ca02 into eventually.  It seems like a pretty decent system.  It keeps the humidity around 90 - 95%RH and allows for modular expansion.  I would like to purchase parts of this system (primarily the gypsum farm nest) without having to purchase a whole setup.  Does anybody know who makes these ant farms or how I can purchase additional parts?

With a bit of research you should be able to find a tutorial on how to make a formicarium out of gypsum.

Sure, the plan as it stands now is to pour some Hydrostone in the bottom of the ones I have. 

 

I'm more interested in the dovetailed box and insert.  I suppose I could build additional nests out of raw materials but I suspect it would cost quite a bit more and take significantly more time that buying the finished product.  I paid $40 for 4 nests and an outworld.  That basically breaks down to $10/nest and a free outworld.

 

I have 10lbs of Hydrostone incoming from Amazon with a few boxes that I plan to make a version of Dspdrew's Dirt Box I'd like to keep one of my Pogonomyrmex rugosus colonies in.  There should be plenty of leftovers for experimenting.

I should have thought to look on Ali Express, it cost less but it looks like might take a while to get here.  I think I've found what I was looking for.  I've ordered a cell.  If it fits my setup, I'll be satisfied.  https://www.aliexpre...6828361631.html

Same here! I love the design. We'll just have to see if it's as high quality as those pictures make it seem.
