Okay sounds good. I will mark my (digital) calendar.

Personal suggestion:

As a few people considered ANTdrew's birthday as the date, I suggest we use that as a back-up.

True, true. Maybe Halloween in that case, as it is closer, and everyone knows what day it is? I think that could work.

One thing you should note, the closer it moves toward winter, the less members get on formiculture. The best way to beat a member count record is to get more members to join the forum. For example, there were 359 users on formiculture in the last 15 minutes, but only three of them were members. Posting informative, detailed journals that you update semi-regularly, responding to posts in an orderly, mature, and helpful way, and posting in a thread dedicated to a community of people from your state or region can help make this forum more enticing for new members to join. If you are not a member and reading this post, feel free to join the forum and ask lots of questions and read past threads to find the information you need!

and at what time?

Edited by OwlThatLikesAnts, September 5 2024 - 6:40 AM.

Currently keeping:

1x Formica subsericea, (used to be polygynous) 15+ workers with 4 pupa (Idk why they still have)

1x Lasius umbratus, (Workers accepted) 5+ workers with host brood

1x Ponera pennsylvanica, just queen

As you watch your ants march, remember: every journey begins with a single step (or queen)-not just towards you, but towards a future woven by diligence and shared dreams - Me
